Baiya Phytopharm™ was founded in 2018 as a spin-off company from faculty of pharmaceutical sciences, Chulalongkorn university, Thailand. With experiences from our co-founder, Waranyoo Poolcharoen, PhD, who has more than 15 years experiences in plant-produced protein expression system and Suthira Taychakhoonavudh, PhD, whose expertise is in health economics, Baiya Phytopharm offers a cutting-edge solution for biopharma industry. The platform has the flexibility to produce biopharmaceutical products of interest within weeks rather than months or years which resulted in a faster and lower cost of research and development.

Our products include plant-produced basic Fibroblast Growth factor (bFGF) or Baiya Plant FGF™ and plant- produced basic Epidermal Growth factor (bEGF) or Baiya Plant EGF™ as a potential anti-aging ingredient for cosmetics.
As pandemic of Covid-19 hits the globe in January 2020, Baiya Phytopharm has shifted its production capacity to produce SAR-CoV-2 related protein including RBD-His antigen protein, human ACE2 protein, CR3022 monoclonal antibody. Baiya Phytopharm has launched Baiya Rapid Covid-19 IgG/IgM Test kit™ in March 2020 and has filed for Thai FDA approval for medical device in April 2020.
Other products in our pipeline include diagnostic test kits for human and animal, therapeutics and vaccines for human and animal.
